Is Structure Overrated in Productivity?

Monks are considered highly productive individuals. What is the secret sauce? STRUCTURE.

Here is an example of a Monk’s schedule below:

How structure can help you be more productive?

  • Structure allows you to plan your time, there is intentionality.

  • Structure to have discipline in how you go about your day to activities. Without discipline, there are no boundaries set and one will be pulled to a million different directions.

  • Structure keeps you accountable. It allows you to have something to measure against.

  • Structure allows you opportunity for focus and allocating time to only what is adding value.

How do you implement or what tools have helped you in implementing and maintaining structure in your life?
